Custom Widgets

Not every deliverable comes out of an API. Custom content lets you put your own data, files and commentary into the client report, sitting beside the automated widgets rather than in a separate email attachment.

It lives in the Monthly Report builder: a canvas where you pick the widgets worth showing this month, drop in your own files, and write the explanation that turns numbers into a story.

Why Custom Content Matters

  • Deliver data that lives outside analytics and SEO tools — link lists, audits, spreadsheets you maintain by hand
  • Explain what the charts mean, in your words, right next to the chart
  • Keep the whole month's deliverable at one link instead of scattered across email threads
  • Freeze what you delivered: publishing snapshots the month, so a later data refresh can never rewrite a report you already sent

Bring Your Own Data and Commentary

File uploads

Drop CSV, XLS, XLSX, PDF and image files straight onto the monthly report canvas. Backlink lists, technical audits, creative samples, an invoice-worthy summary — whatever the month's deliverable actually is. Files are stored with the report and served only through the client's private link.

Notes and comments

Every item on the report — uploaded file, chart or widget — takes a title and a comment. Write the context under the figure it explains, so the client reads your interpretation rather than inventing their own. There's also a month intro for the summary that goes at the top.

Ahrefs screenshot transcriber

Upload a screenshot of an Ahrefs chart and it's read and redrawn as a native chart in your report — the same styling as everything else, no pasted screenshots. The original image is kept on your side for verification; the client sees a real chart.

Site audit workbook

Upload a site-crawl workbook and the client gets a clean, sortable “Site health” tab — issues and priorities as tables they can actually read, instead of a spreadsheet they'll never open.

Curate the month, then publish it

Pick any of the 37 automated widgets to include this month, drag cards to reorder, resize them to a third, two-thirds or full width, and see each widget rendered at its real size as you build. Titles, comments and the intro autosave — there are no Save buttons.

When you hit Publish, the month is frozen: intro, items and the platform figures at that moment. Your client can be emailed the link automatically, past months archive themselves, and nothing you edit afterwards reaches them until you publish again.
